The Norwegian Road Museum is one of Norway's largest technical industrial museums. The museum has several thousand square meters of indoor exhibitions, a large museum park and a unique over 200 meters long rock tunnel with rock blasting history.
The museum is responsible for the preservation, research and dissemination of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's history and Norwegian road history in general. The collections consist of objects, photos and private archive material. The museum also has a special library with road history literature. The exhibitions are open all year round.
