The Norwegian Cycling Federation has awarded the Norwegian Championship and the Youth Championship in round track mountain biking 2022 to Lillehammer CK.

Next year's Norwegian Championship in round track will be held at Birkebeineren ski and biathlon stadium in Lillehammer the weekend of 16 to 19 June 2022.

This is how the Norwegian Mountain Bike Championship will be in 2022
The tracks that were used during this year's Norway cup are mainly the same routes that will be used during the Norwegian Championship and the Youth Championship next year. Everyone has a start and finish at Birkebeineren ski and biathlon stadium in Lillehammer.

In the NM for men and women junior and senior as well as in the youth games for age-specific classes from 13 to 16 years, there will be round track (XCO), short track (XCC) and sprint (XCE).

In addition, the round track and short track NM for masts, and youth games for riders under 13 in round track, short track and pace are run. These are run in parallel with NM and UM in Lillehammer, ie the weekend of 16 to 19 June, 2022.

Experienced organizer
Lillehammer CK has extensive experience in arranging championships. In recent years, the club has arranged both national and international races, including the Masters WC in 2014 and the round track NM both in 2013 and 2018. In 2019, Lillehammer CK arranged the first unofficial NM in short track.
