The Retory Farm in Ringebu consists of a main building, two granaries, labourer's lodging and outhouse, located in picturesque surroundings just beside Ringebu Stave Church.
The Rectory Farm contains the stave-church exhibition which acts as an introduction and in-depth account of the history of the stave church. A permanent collection of paintings by Jakob Weidemann is also to be found there. The exhibition shows a cross-section of his production from the 19 40s to the present day. Every summer, the Rectory farm has a special summer exhibition with several displays.
Follow the signs from the E6 to Ringebu stavkirke, 2 ½ miles south of the centre of Ringebu. The Rectory Farm is located 100 yards north of the stave church.
