The scenic hill at Lillehammer
The scenic hill (Utsiktsbakken) at Lillehammer is a nice place to stroll to if you want to take a look at the town. From the center of Lillehammer it is about 20 minutes walk.
At the top of the hill there is the memory of fallen Norwegian soldiers from the region during WWII. From Utsiktsbakken you look beyond Lillehammer with Lillehammer Church and Sports Square. There is also a good view over lake Mjøsa and parts of Gausdal municipality.
