Stavsplassen, together with the National Team for Dølahest, the National Team for Nordlandshest/Lyngshest and the Norwegian Horse Center, invites you to an impressive gathering with some of the most beautiful horses Norway can offer. Experience performance tests, exterior assessments, fantastic atmosphere and magnificent stallions that will take your breath away!

The stallion show is a collaborative project between NHS, the national teams for Døla and N/L horses and Stavsplassen SA.
The show is open to special breeds in addition to Dølahest and Nordlandshest/Lyngshest, and consists of veterinary examinations, measurements, driving tests, riding tests, loose showing, exterior assessment and mustering on hard surfaces.
The journey from Hafjell Hotel to Stavsplassen at Tretten is a short trip of about 15 kilometers and usually takes around 14 minutes by car.
Car (recommended): Drive north on the E6 from Øyer/Granrudmoen. Drive through the tunnel and turn off towards the center of Tretten right after. Follow the signs further into Stavsplassen.
