The restaurant at Hafjell Hotel is made into practical and cozy lounges with new buffet area. The restaurant offers winter fixed dinner menus that vary from day to day. In the fireplace lounge we have a piano bar selected days during the week. In the summer we offer buffet and a la carte in the restaurant.

In our comfortable lounges you can eat undisturbed. Our cuisine is ideal for tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere, giving you the opportunity to try both new and traditional dishes. This combined with our fine decorated reception rooms provides an inspiring and stately setting for any event.

Best breakfast in the county

Twinings Best Breakfast awarded in 2017 Norway's best breakfast for 13 years in a row. Hafjell Hotell became county winner in Oppland as the hotel with the best hotel breakfast. This was the first time a hotel from the Lillehammer region won this competition. In 2018, Hafjell Hotell won again the competition to have the best hotel breakfast in Oppland county.

The criteria for winning include the quality of the products, selection, presentation, information to the guests, service, atmosphere, cleanliness and tidiness. The jury consists of chefs and sommeliers from the Haugen Group, as well as an independent jury. They have reviewed more than 400 hotels in Norway. Now the hotel is aiming to further develop the food experience. The chef announces that the hotel has already made some small changes that they hope will benefit during the next evaluation process.
