Tobogganing Lillehammer

Kanthaugen Freestyle facility was an arena for moguls, freestyle jumps and ballet during the 1994 Olympics. Today, the ballet hill in the facility is used for tobogganing and other activities. The toboggan run is about 1 km long and relatively gentle, and it is lit so that night skiing is possible.
The facility is on the south side of the Lysgaardsbakkene ski jumping facility. Tobogganing is not an Olympic sport, but has nevertheless become one of Lillehammer's most popular winter activities. The toboggan is connected directly to the ski lift, and you sit on the toboggan while you are pulled to the top. Before the start, everyone is equipped with a helmet and goggles, and on the way down you decide the speed using the brake. After a few rides, you really get the hang of it, and smiles and laughter are guaranteed to be loose. Tobogganing is suitable for all age groups, but you have to be 10 years old to drive alone. Welcome to snow spray and fun!
