The Nest
Directions: There is a toll road to this cottage. In slippery and icy roads always chain / gripping roofs must be used to avoid stopping or queue.
The cabins are located just below the Gondola and Skavlen restaurant in Hafjell. There is a toll road to the cabins at The Nest. Free parking outside the accommodation.
Access to the cabins with year-round road, which is plowed and strewn as needed. Take the E6 at Scandic Hafjell in Øyer. Check in at Hafjell Hotell (Hundervegen 33). There you get the key to the cabin. Follow signs for Nermo Hotell. After passing Nermo Hotell, turn right at the next junction. Just before the tunnel, turn right onto Mosætervegen. Follow the road for about 2 km until you pass the barrier and take the next exit on the right, just before the tunnel under Svegardsløypa. Continue up Fjellandsbyen for just under 2 km and until you reach the top. You are now on The Nest. NB! in case of snowfall it can be slippery and we recommend using studded tires.
