Lillehammer hosted the European Championships in curling for women and men. It happened in the period 20 to 27 November 2021. There were 42 teams for this tournament.
Lillehammer hosted the European Championships in curling for women and men. It happened in the period 20 to 27 November 2021. There were 42 teams for this tournament.
It was the Norwegian Curling Association that was awarded the championship, while it was Lillehammer Curlingklubb which, in collaboration with the association, carried it out. Lillehammer CK was also the organizer of the EC 30 years ago, as well as being very involved in the curling process during the Youth Olympics in 2016.
Håkons Hall, Norway's largest hall, was the main arena for group A in this championship, while group B played its matches in Ungdomshallen. This means that the club's own arena, the Curling Hall, was used for, among other things, training.
It was the Norwegian Curling Association that was awarded the championship, while it was Lillehammer Curlingklubb which, in collaboration with the association, carried it out.
