Welcome to the Half-Birken bike ride organized for the 8th of August 31st, 2024. The bike trail is 41 km starting at Pellestova (approx. Two miles north of Lillehammer) 970 meters above sea level in the beautiful Øyer mountain near the Hafjell Alpine Center. You cycle on fine roads in the mountains before you reach the finish line at Håkons Hall.
For whom?
Half-Birken bike ride is suitable for those who want to experience the Birkebeiner mood in a slightly less demanding trail than the Birkebeiner ride. Everyone who is 17 years old 31.12.22 can participate and participants ride a bicycle of 3.5 kg throughout the ride.

All competitors must have passed 17 years of age as per December 31, 2023 and must carry a backpack of at least 3,5 kg throughout the race. Note that all participants also must have a licence/insurance.
