A lot of roses, old-fashioned perennials, a mountain garden with both new and old, small herb collection, old apple garden, new-berry garden with old varieties. Summer exhibition of Norwegian and local artists. Coffee beverage. Guiding for groups can be ordered.
Prestegardshagen is a living, historical garden that conveys the ancient garden culture that once existed around the priesthoods. The inspiration was taken from the 1870s, with a straight axis from the house down into the garden that passes into rolling gravel walks.
In the garden there are flowers, rose and herb bed, old fruit trees and berry bushes. Cuttings of old fruit trees (grafted) and berries have been taken from the pastoral garden and older gardens in Ringebu, which are in the field of cultivation for implantation. The local association of the Rose Association has registered over 60 old garden roses in Oppland county, and some of them are planted in the prestegards garden.
