Welcome to Oppland kunstsenter

Oppland Art Centre is a contemporary arts gallery and a membership organisation for the artists of Oppland. The gallery is located at the 1st floor in Bøndernes Hus at Stortorget (close to Lillehammer Library and Art Museum).

Oppland Art Center was established in 1986 and is a regional center and venue for contemporary art. OK is also a competence center for public art projects, and initiates artistic events and conversations.

Oppland Art Centre not only provides a gallery for showcasing artists’ works, but also hosts talks and presentations during the year, in addition to working toward the development of art projects in public spaces throughout the region.

Our exhibitions and events represent and contribute to the development of the contemporary art field, both locally, regionally and nationally. Oppland Art Center is owned by the Visual Artists in Oppland (BKO) and Norwegian Arts and Crafts East Norway (NK-East), and is part of the national network "Kunstsentrene i Norge" (KiN).
