Vingnesvika Lillehammer

The city's most visited swimming area. The bathing areas are part of a larger free area along the Vingnes beach. A small sandy beach with dive board on the pier. There is limited parking capacity. Arrival and departure for Skibladner at the pier. Short distance to shop if you want to buy food.

Strandpromenaden in Lillehammer

The seafront promenade, the downtown beach zone, is an attractive, centrally located activity and recreation area. There are established hiking trails, skate parks, gyms, sand volleyball courts, ballooning, disc golf, toilet, sandy beach and parking. At the former concrete station between Korgen and Mosodden there is a built-in viewing platform for bird watching. The building also serves as a popular hiking destination.

Lighting is established along the road from Korgen in the north to Old Skibladner pier to the south.

Badedammen in Vingrom village

Worked bathing area adjacent to a larger free area in Vingrom. Natural fine sandy beach. Both sheltered bathing pond and possibility to swim directly in Mjøsa. Benches, table, rubbish bin, toilet, parking lot. Great area with both nature area and living areas.

Mosodden in Lillehammer

Nice swimming area at Mjøsa lake with natural small sandy beach. Part of the cohesive major open-air area along Mjøsa.

Badedammen in Lillehammer town

If you go up Mesna river on a summer day you will meet many bathers at the natural swimming area. It is located right in front of the town center just off the Olympic Park. Widely used on fine days. Toilet in the summer season. Benches, table, rubbish bin. Parking along the road, as well as large parking space at Stampesletta.

Jorekstad Water Park

Jorekstad Water park featuring indoor and outdoor pools. Steam bath and sauna. Swimming lessons for children and baby swimming courses. When you get hungry, you can have bite to eat in the cafe.
