Moksa art park

The river Moksa in Tretten, have been used for hydro power production since 1909. During the flood in 1995 the river brought with it most of the riverbed, houses and a mill. To recover the riverbank and to prevent a new flood they have build a new man made concrete riverbank.

During the planning of this construction they got the idea to build a art park here with a team from the history and the happenings under the flood. A local artist got the job and today 10 years after the flooding, it now stands finished.

The park is well worth a visit.
