The trail is the country's first with LED lights and is very cheap to operate. The light will be lit from 06:00 in the morning to 23:00 in the evening throughout the winter. This will be a great addition to an already popular destination like Hafjell. The trail makes Mosetertoppen, which is the top station for the Gondola, the country's most complete and compact starting point for ski enthusiasts of all categories. The trails wind through the beautiful cabin area at Mostertoppen and provide good access to the trail network for both alpinists and cross-country skiers.

When it comes to competition trails, Mosetertoppen will have a new sprint route and a new 2.5 km distance course. The sprint route will have a length of 1 km. The new 2.5 km loop will be under standards set by the International Ski Federation, FIS.
