Beaches and bathing

Jorekstad - 1350 square metres of pool area where you can exercise, jump in, dive, enjoy a sauna or simply relax in the Jacuzzi while the kids have fun on the water slide or the climbing wall. When you get hungry, you can have a bite to eat in the cafe.
On a hot summer day the bathing areas in the Lillehammer region are popular. You can choose between mountain water or swimming in Lake Mjøsa. In addition, there are water park in the region.

Vingnes Vika
Lillehammer most visited bathing place. The bathing area is part of a larger free area along the Vingnes beach. Sandy beach with h2e board on the dock. There is limited parking capacity. Arrival and departure for Skibladner paddle steamer.

Strandpromenaden
The seafront promenade, the downtown beach zone, is an attractive, centrally located activity and recreation area. There are established hiking trails, skate parks, gyms, sand volleyball courts, ballooning, disc golf, toilet, sandy beach and parking. At the former concrete station between Korgen and Mosodden there is a built-in viewing platform for bird watching.

Nevelvann and Abbortjern
In connection with hot summer days, we recommend a fresh dip in one of the many mountain waters on Nordseter and Sjusjøen.
