Vingnesvika Skating Rink in Lillehammer facilitates skating activities on Mjøsa throughout the winter. The plan is to create a 400-meter track, a hockey rink and a long trail of 7 km between Vingnesvika and Vingrom church. The courses are free to use and open to everyone.
Vingnesvika Skøytebane in Lillehammer offers fantastic opportunities for skating on Mjøsa throughout the winter season. A 400-metre track, a hockey rink and a 7 km long track are planned to stretch from Vingnesvika to Vingrom church. The courses are free to use and open to everyone.

Free loan of skates at Vingnesvika


The skates can be ordered via the Vandreskoen store in Lillehammer, where they are also picked up and delivered. Payment is made in cash or via Vipps, and the proceeds go to the operation of the ice rink.

Available equipment:
- Skate iron adapted for cross-country ski boots with NNN binding. For the best comfort, skating or combi boots are recommended, as regular cross-country ski boots are a bit too soft.
- For children, we have 25 sets of NNN skate irons, which are also lent out free of charge to school classes.

Prices:
- Rental of skates for one day costs NOK 100 and can be paid in cash or via Vipps. School classes can borrow skates for free.
