Vingnesvika Lillehammer

Vingnesvika is Lillehammer's most visited swimming spot, with swimming opportunities in Mjøsa. The bathing areas are part of a larger outdoor area along the beach at Vingnes. Sandy beach with h2ing board on the pier.

From Vingnesvika, it is a short walk to Kiwi for those who want to buy barbecue food. Vingnesvika is also the port of call for Skibladner on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays during the sailing season.

About Vingnes

Vingnes is a district in Lillehammer municipality. It is located on the other side of Mjøsa in relation to Lillehammer city, i.e. on the west side. There are about 1800 people living in Vingnes. The new pier for Skibladner is located at Vingnes, and was inaugurated on 25 June 2006. Vingnesvika on the south side of the headland is Lillehammer's most popular swimming spot.
