If it's been a long time since you've been on a ski slope, it might be a good idea to join a group that helps you brush up on your technique and boost your confidence. Many people feel unsafe on the chairlift – and that's completely normal.
For our youngest skiers, Hafjell Ski School offers several exciting group offers: Children's Land, Knerteklubben and Snøklubben. Here, play is an important part of learning, and the children develop motor skills, senses and understanding in a fun way. Group lessons start on Mondays and last for at least three days, and apply to both alpine skiing and snowboarding.
**Children's Land**
Children's Land is a winter dream for children between the ages of 4 and 6 who learn to ski through play and fun. Here they meet the Hafjell animals Nora, Gaia and Pelle, who make the skiing experience both safe and fun.
**Knerteklubben**
Children from 4 to 6 years, intermediate.
Knerteklubben is for children who have mastered basic techniques such as ploughing and braking, and want to take their skiing skills further. The course builds on experience from Barneland, but retains elements of play as part of the teaching.
**The Snow Club**
Children 7 to 10 years old, all levels.
Here, the children face challenges in varied terrain to develop better skiing technique and balance. The snow club emphasizes play-based learning, and with the gondola, there is more time on the slopes and less time in the lift.
**Youth**
For the age group 11–15 years, regardless of level.
Here, the focus is more on learning than play. Teaching and trails are adapted to the level of the participants, with instructors who help the youth to develop good and safe technique.
**Group lessons for youth and adults**
From 16 years and up, we offer courses for all levels - from beginners to the more experienced. Better skiing technique increases confidence and makes the skiing experience both safer and more rewarding. The groups are h2ided based on the participants' skills.
For a more personalized experience, you can also book a private ski instructor for yourself or with friends, and enjoy skiing at Hafjell Ski Resort to the fullest.
