Pumptrack Hafjell
A brand new and large pump track is now being built at Mosetertoppen, close to Skavlen restaurant and where the gondola has its disembarkation. The pump track in Hafjell has become a favorite activity both in the summer and during the autumn holidays.
As part of a larger development for the summer offer, there are a number of news in Hafjell Bike Park. The highlight this year is a new pump track of 2500m2 for all levels. The pump track is located at the top of Mosetertoppen, right by the disembarkation of the Gondola.
A pump track is an undulating bike track with a combination of jumps, turns and bumps. In such a bike track, you create speed by moving in pumping movements - hence the name "Pump track".
Cycling in a pump track is fun at all ages and you also train balance and fitness - in addition, it gives a great sense of mastery by being able to get up to speed without pedaling around.
The pump track has already become a very popular offer for everyone in the family after just a few weeks.
Just below Skavlen and the pump track you will find Nest cabins that are for rent. Perfect for families on a bike trip in Hafjell.
New playground with climbing elements!
Late last autumn, Hafjell opened a new playground for the little ones, with fun climbing elements and challenges that are suitable for both small and large children. This playground is located right behind the pump track and is free and open to everyone. We also have a swing set and slide, located right by Skavlen.
