Øyer Turskiøyper provides a unique trail network in fantastic high mountain surroundings connected to Hafjell, Pellestova, Hornsjøen and on to Holmsetra, Brennlia and Trolløypa towards Ringebu. Enjoy the tranquility of nature and beautiful ski trails. Take the gondola up to Mosetertoppen or drive to Gaiastova and experience the extensive hiking trail network at Hafjelltoppen and Øyerfjellet.

We offer cabins at Mosetertoppen with direct access to the cross-country trails, as well as cabins and apartments at Hafjelltoppen - the perfect center for a cross-country skiing experience!

From Gaiastova it is easy to start the trip. The terrain is easy and surrounded by beautiful white plains. Here you will also find a shop that rents out skis and sells ski wax, or you can enjoy a hot cup of cocoa or coffee.

Three great trail choices take you to Hornsjø from Hafjell/Gaiastova/Pellestova. The shortest route, approx. 2.5-3 miles round trip, goes over Reinsfjellet and offers majestic views from peaks above 1000 meters above sea level. Alternatively, you can choose groomed trails that give you a nice round trip, even if they stretch a little further.

From Gaiastova or Pellestova it is also easy to reach the top of Nevelfjellet, 1089 meters above sea level, with steadily ascending tracks. At the top you will find good views and a target that points out the area's other peaks.

Mosetertoppen is also the starting point for the venerable trip to Lillehammer. Start by taking the gondola up and follow the cross-country track to the extensive trail network in Øyerfjellet. The route via Pellestova, Nordseter and Lillehammer offers varied climbs and descents. At Pellestova you can take a break and enjoy a delicious meal before heading on.

The brand new Moseter trail at Mosetertoppen opened in January and is a 5.7 km long floodlit trail. The course, which has been developed in collaboration with Olympiatoppen, is suitable for both active athletes and exercisers. It is the country's first trail with LED lighting, which is kept lit all winter from 06:00 to 23:00. This modern addition lifts Hafjell to become Norway's most complete ski starting point!

Hafjell cabins, apartments and ski facilities provide the perfect setting for those who want to experience the ultimate ski holiday in Norway. Book with us and enjoy the winter season!
