Fåberg tournament

The Faaberg Tournament is a football tournament for girls and boys aged 6 - 14 years and is played in the last weekend before the start of school in August. Every age and gender has its own class. In 2024, 325 teams and 2558 players participated. It was played over 800 games and cheered for nearly 3,700 goals. The teams were from the counties of Trøndelag. Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Akershus, Oslo, Hedmark and Oppland.

During the Fåberg Tournament you have the opportunity to play against teams you usually do not meet in the series game at home. The Fåberg Tournament is a great opportunity to start the autumn season in football after a well-deserved summer holiday.

Hafjell Resort offers accommodation in hotels, cottages and apartments for participating teams. All teams in the Fåberg tournament receive five games each during this football weekend and they are played on 14 excellent grass pitches located on the same area at Jorekstad.

The Fåberg Tournament is a soccer tournament for girls and boys aged 6 - 14 and is played in the last weekend before the start of school 16 -18. August 2019. Every age and gender has its own class.

The tournament is played on 18 courses with either artificial grass or natural grass. All the courses are within a radius of about 500 meters. Most courses are located at Jorekstad Stadium. Hafjell is located 9 km from Jorekstad where all matches are played.

Accommodation Fotball tournament

Hafjell Resort has many teams that book annual accommodation during the Fåberg Tournament. Most people want to stay at our apartments or cabins and some teams at our hotel in Hafjell. Already now, more than half of all our residential units are reserved for teams that will participate in the Fåberg tournament.
