Gondola in Hafjell

The Gondola at Hafjell whisks you easily and comfortably to the top of the mountain where you are dropped off right at the trailheads for inviting hiking and biking terrain. The Gondola cabins can also transport baby carriages and wheelchairs. From the top of the Gondola at Mosetertoppen there are also hiking trails where wanderers of all ages can find the right challenge. Some of the trails are prepared for baby carriage.

The gondola in Hafjell has landing at the Mosetertoppen, (781 meters above sea level) as with the eatery Skavlen has gradually become the new meeting place in Hafjell. Here you have 586 height meters available before you return to the starting point at Skitorget.

The middle climb - Klingenberg (475 meters above sea level) can be used by the one who stops halfway and wishes to ski in the upper part of the ski slope network in Hafjell.

The whole trip from valley to mountain takes about 10 minutes, and the gondola course provides a very comfortable journey where you have panoramic views of the ski slopes and the open countryside. The skis are placed on the outside of the cabin and inside there is seating for 8 people.

The Gondola

The Gondola brings you easy and comfortable up in the mountain and the trip is an experience itself. The gondola trip gives you a gorgeous view of the valley Gudbrandsdalen and the river Lågen. At the end station of the Gondola, Mosetertoppen, you can also enjoy the view from the viewpoint or at the restaurant Skavlen while having something to eat (the cinnamon buns is worth a try!). There is also some nice hiking and mountain bike opportunities. The gondola fits a wheelchair and baby strollers. At the end station of the Gondola you have Skavlen Restaurant, a nice park area, playground and a little treasure hunt for kids.
